The Twitter/X Post widget lets you embed any public tweet or video from X (formerly Twitter) directly into your campaign page. Unlike the iFrame method, this widget is optimized for Twitter content and provides a native-looking embed with minimal setup.
This widget is ideal for showcasing announcements, community highlights, viral moments, or video content from your X account.

How to Add a Twitter/X Post

  1. Click Add Element (or the + button)
  2. Search for “Twitter” in the widget picker
  3. Select Twitter/X Post (the one that says “Embed Twitter/X posts and videos directly”)
  4. Drag the widget onto your page layout
  5. Paste the tweet URL into the settings panel on the right
To get a tweet URL, click the share button on any tweet and select “Copy link”. The URL will look like: https://x.com/username/status/1234567890

Twitter/X Post vs. Twitter Social Card

Don’t confuse this widget with the Twitter social card:

Use Twitter/X Post when you want to display content. Use Twitter (Social Card) when you want visitors to follow your account.

Tips

  • Keep it relevant: Only embed tweets that add value to your campaign page
  • Check visibility: Ensure the tweet is from a public account (private tweets won’t load)
  • Consider placement: Position tweet embeds where they support your page narrative
  • Video embeds: Tweets with video will display the video player directly in the embed
  • Thread support: You can embed individual tweets from a thread, but each tweet needs its own widget
If a tweet is deleted or the account becomes private, the embed will show an error. Consider screenshotting important content as a backup.
